LGE History and Mission for the Future
David R. Sellers founded LGE Design Build in 1994 with the idea of streamlining the design and construction process with a “single source” controlling the upfront design, specification detailing, entitlement process and all the details of construction. What started with a handful of smaller industrial buildings throughout the Phoenix area has turned into a vertically integrated design and construction company with projects ranging from under $1 million to over $50 million in value.
Since 1994, LGE Design Build has designed and built over 1,200 projects totaling over 28 million square feet. LGE is consistently ranked among the best general contractors in the Southwest and is the only large-scale commercial general contractor in Arizona that has both design and construction under the same roof.
In 2014, to celebrate its 20th anniversary, and dedicated to our founder David R. Sellers, LGE started the David R. Sellers Foundation. The foundation was started to serve causes that make a positive impact on families and communities everywhere.
As we head into the future, we remain true to the values set forth by our company’s founder and continue to grow in both our abilities and our positive impact on the communities we’re in. David E. Sellers
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
David has been involved in over 15 million square feet of development and has shaped LGE’s team and process to what it is today. In 2014 to further strengthen the design build mission David started LGE Design Group, LGE’s architectural arm. He has won several industry awards including NAIOP general contractor of the year, NAIOP TI general contractor of the year, and Phoenix Business Journal 40 under 40.

Michael Stafford
PRESIDENT
As President of LGE Design-Build, Michael Stafford is responsible for executing LGE’s short-term and long-term goals including its continued growth in its primary markets, growth into new markets and expansion into new product offerings. His guiding philosophy for his work and his role at LGE is to constantly put people over profit. He encourages health, wellness and professional excellence from the entire company and does his part to lead by example every day.

Ben McRae
PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT / VICE PRESIDENT
Ben McRae joined LGE Design Build as the Principal Architect in 2017. He is an award-winning designer, who specializes in high-quality, functional design. He partners closely with the construction team to ensure that we meet and exceed the client’s vision for every project. As a leader, he is focused on mentoring young architects so they can create their own successful careers.

Grant Blunt
VICE PRESIDENT OF CONSTRUCTION
As the Vice President of Construction Grant brings with him over two decades of experience in creative problem-solving, innovative thinking and a thoughtful approach to client relationships. Blunt’s dedication to collaboration and communication make him an exemplary leader for his department.

Caleb Parsons
Director of Construction, Texas
As Director of Construction, Caleb brings over 22 years of experience in the construction industry having served in a multitude of roles over his career, including Director of Operations, Project Management, and Super-Intendent. Caleb draws on his deep well of experience to provide exceptional guidance to our team and clients throughout the design build process. His proactive approach to problem-solving and dedication to communication and collaboration make him an asset to the LGE Design Build team and our clients.

Mark S. Cone
Director of Operations / Principal, Texas
As Director of Operations and Principal, Mark is responsible for all facets of a project from conception through construction, creating a standard of excellence in quality and client confidence. When not leading projects, Mark is focused on business development opportunities, fostering client relationships and introduction new clients and design opportunities to the LGE Design Group in Texas and the surrounding region. For Mark, the evolving urban landscape of the DFW Metroplex provides many exciting opportunities to be an active participant in creating functional and inspiring spaces.

Blake Wells
VICE PRESIDENT OF PRECONSTRUCTION
As the Vice President of Preconstruction Blake has employed his knowledge-base at LGE to drive incredible innovation in cost intelligence, sales analytics and both company and project strategy. Wells is straight-forward, consistent and an outstanding guide for LGE’s clients through the complexities of design and construction.

Dominic Palma
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
As the Vice President of Operations Dominic brings over twenty years of experience in construction operations and strategy. Prior to joining LGE, Dominic was responsible for the long-range planning, strategy, and operations for one of the largest energy efficiency/renewable construction firms in the US. Dominic is a firm believer that we should all have an eye on our overall company goals and focus on teamwork/collaboration to achieve those goals together
