Business Development Professional

A Business Development Professional at LGE Design Build is responsible for the cultivation of new business through networking and lead generation. He or she is expected to represent LGE’s services, expertise, culture and values with new clients and the real estate community. Business Development Professionals report to LGE’s COO. The position is one of LGE’s primary outward-facing representatives and is responsible for generating and leading an incredibly exciting, active and diverse pipeline of projects at a company whose reputation is for high design, high quality, versatility and a truly unique design-build business model. The BD Professional is expected to actively engage the real estate community in monthly, weekly, and sometimes daily events during and outside of normal business hours in order to generate leads. Required Attributes: Computer skills to include knowledge in Microsoft Office, Adobe, assessors maps, CoStar, CRM software. Minimum of 3 years’ real estate experience with heavy preference toward sales-focused roles. Intellect, personality, desire and confidence to engage in public speaking and presenting in front of large groups. Multi-tasking is a must.

Project Superintendent

The Project Superintendent will manage and coordinate all on-site activities of sub-contractors, vendors and material deliveries on a given project for it to progress in a smooth and safe manner at all times while always striving to meet the scheduled deadline of the project. Coordinates efforts with the Project Manager during daily activities but ultimately reports to the Vice President of Construction. Required Attributes: A strong successful background in commercial construction in a trade position for a period of not less than 5 years with another (5) years as a Commercial Construction Superintendent. Must have at least basic computer skills and be capable of creating weekly reports using Microsoft Excel and Word programs. Takes pride in accomplishing personal and company goals and is a team player representing LGE Design Build in a manner that helps promote LGE as a leader in the industry.

Traveling Project Superintendent

The Traveling Project Superintendent will manage and coordinate all on-site activities of sub-contractors, vendors and material deliveries on a given project for it to progress in a smooth and safe manner at all times while always striving to meet the scheduled deadline of the project. Coordinates efforts with the Project Manager during daily activities but ultimately reports to the Vice President of Construction. Required Attributes: Ability and willingness to travel. A strong successful background in commercial construction in a trade position for a period of not less than 5 years with another (5) years as a Commercial Construction Superintendent. Must have at least basic computer skills and be capable of creating weekly reports using Microsoft Excel and Word programs. Takes pride in accomplishing personal and company goals and is a team player representing LGE Design Build in a manner that helps promote LGE as a leader in the industry.

Estimator - Texas

The Estimator will assist in LGE’s goals, strategies, and preconstruction services in a manner above reproach. The position requires client relations, subcontractor/vendor relations, time management, efficiency, and fundamental estimating. We are looking to fill this position at our Dallas, TX office. The process includes budget development / submission, detailed and comprehensive quality takeoffs, accurate cost evaluation, subcontractor and supplier bid solicitation, coordination with the design team on construction methodology, qualifying bids and scope, and executing contracts. The Estimator will coordinate with other management and senior level positions within the company to share information and ensure a streamlined process. The Estimator will work hand in hand with Estimating Team to achieve department / company goals and shall report to the Director of Preconstruction. Required Attibutes: Ability to work constructively in a team environment that is fast-paced. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent work experience. Possess at least seven years of experience with a general contractor, with at least three years of service dedicated to preconstruction.

Project Manager - Texas

The Project Manager will plan, direct, budget and coordinate the construction projects typically through the field Superintendent. We are looking to fill this position at our Dallas, TX office. Responsibilities: Organize and provide a master project schedule and any required updates for sequencing of activity on the project site. Prepare and initiate any cost change orders for the Client of Sub-contractors as required during the course of construction. Assist preconstruction team in bid and subcontractor buy-out. Assure progress of the project is within the scheduled allotted time frame agreed to for the project. Direct the close out and assure final project punch list and warranty materials are provided in a timely manner.

Designer, LGE Design Group

The Designer works under the direction of the Principal, and will have an active role in the design of projects including project programing, site design, building design, space planning, material selections and project entitlement. We are looking to fill this position at our Phoenix headquarters. Responsibilities: Support and/or conduct client meetings, obtain client approval and ensure integration into overall design, support creative design decisions that are within project goals and cost, assist in the entitlement of a project through the related city/ county process, assist in the review of shop drawings, provides team coordination for the finished plans, specifications and material selections required for construction, participate in construction administration to verify follow through of design, assists staff to further project objectives and meet deadlines. Knowledge of design software, AutoCAD, REVIT, Sketch Up, Excel, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of CDs, contract administration, building systems, codes and ADA requirements.

Project Manager, LGE Design Group

The Project Manager works under the direction of the Director of Operations and Principal managing the production of working drawings for various construction and project types. We are looking to fill this position at our Phoenix headquarters. Responsibilities: Assist in construction administration tasks, request submittal fees from accounting, travel to visit job sites, drop off city submittals, and produce record set drawings once project is complete. Handle shop draw reviews, RFI responses, and production of construction documents. Attend and participate in internal and off-site meetings with coworkers, consultants and clients. Collaboration with estimating and construction on project details, bidding concerns, and overall document coordination and clarity. Requires a high level of knowledge of REVIT, Auto CAD, Excel and Word. Understanding of local zoning, building codes and systems, energy codes, ADA requirements, construction documents, construction administration and related procedures.

Job Captain, LGE Design Group

The Job Captain works under the direction of the Project Manager and Director of Operations managing the production of working drawings for various construction and project types. We are looking to fill this position at our Phoenix headquarters. Responsibilities: Assist in construction administration tasks, request submittal fees from accounting, travel to visit job sites, drop off city submittals, and produce record set drawings once project is complete. Handle shop draw reviews, RFI responses, and production of construction documents. Attend and participate in internal and off-site meetings with coworkers, consultants and clients. Collaboration with estimating and construction on project details, bidding concerns, and overall document coordination and clarity. Requires a high level of knowledge of REVIT, Auto CAD, Excel and Word. Understanding of local zoning, building codes and systems, energy codes, ADA requirements, construction documents, construction administration and related procedures.

Project Architect, LGE Design Group - Texas

The Project Architect works under the direction of the Project Director and Principal managing the production of working drawings for various construction and project types. We are looking to fill this position at our Dallas, TX office. Required attributes: MOST important is TEAM spirit! Multi- tasking within a fast paced environment and competently managing personal workload with high attention to detail in order to keep tasks on target and projects on time of set delivery schedules and deadlines. A high level of knowledge of REVIT, Auto CAD, Excel and Word. Understanding of local zoning, building codes and systems, energy codes, ADA requirements, construction documents, construction administration and related procedures.
